Central government bonds (CGBs) are negotiable debt obligations issued by the central government with a maturity of more than one year. CGBs are commonly issued with maturities of 2, 5, 10, 20 and 30 years and coupon paid once a year since the issue date, and are redeemed at par value at maturity.
